Noah’s Poem

My mind 

Wants to organize the mind

My mind 

Wants to organize the world 

And I’ve been considering discipline (what does it mean to ‘have’ it) 

And the feeling of warmth 

When I sit in the subway car after a day of work 

I’d like to feel that warmth during work too 

And I’d like to allow every day to be slow

And to rest with a cup of tea 

In the morning

And to be like the kids standing on the bench of the subway 

looking out the window 

when we go over the bridge 

At night
